  Locke California
A friend and I took a photo day up to a small Chinese mining town built in 1915. It is not a ghost town, but it is very small and run down; the buildings have almost as much character as the locals. I loved it there! I don't usually use the old-school style but I found it fitting in this case.

A Poem I wrote I for my Grammy Peanut when she was still alive...I miss you. Happy Birthday....

I think of you every passing day.  I wear the necklace that you gave away.
Are you okay?
You taught me to be strong, you taught me how to play.  It is because of you, that I am the woman that I am today.
  Are you okay?
As time passes, you keep telling me that you are fading away.
You gave me the cake topper from your wedding day.
Are you okay?
Your fading strength will soon give way.  But your sense of humor and love will always stay.
Are you okay?
I know that in your dreams, with your husband you lay.  I know that when you go, it will be your way.

Are you okay?
I know that you get mad when I always say
That I never want you to go away
But more than anything...
All I want to know is... Grammy, are you going to be okay?

 Alyssa & Mark Get Married!
On July 17th, my life long best friend of 27 years, got married to a very lucky man named Marc.  I was not the actual Photographer but I did bring my camera and managed to grabbed a few shots.  The Wedding Ceremony was at Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site in our home town of Cornish N.H.  The reception was at her parent home.
I wish you both all the happiness in the world and remind you to never to ever take each other for granted and to find love in the little things.

Aiden and Kyan Rall

I had the absolute pleasure to photograph my good friends new baby Aiden and his adoring big brother Kyan.  When I arrived the boys were sleeping, Aiden was all smiles for me in the first 10 minutes while I introduced myself and nibbled on his fat belly.  But as it is with babies...it didn't last.  I grabbed the shots I could before he cried and finally went to sleep.  I am looking forward to going back and getting more shots of him and the whole family.  Laila and Dan, you really do make some beautiful boys!

Laila, Dan, & Baby (yet to be named)
My good friends are expecting in early May, we know it is a boy and we can be sure that he will be adorable!  They already have a wonderfully fun and sweet boy named Kyan.  Unfortunately he did not make an appearance because it was his nap time during the quickie photo shoot we had in their back yard/jungle.  We all can't wait to spoil the new arrival and to watch little Kyan grow into a fantastic big brother.  Laila...you make motherhood look so beautiful.  :-)

Corporate Photo's

Here are a few of the fun ones I shot the other day at an office downtown.
They said they didn't want the normal stuffy corporate head shots, so I had a little fun with a few of them.  I had a great time and I like the photo's more then I thought I was going to!

Starke Family Christmas Photoshoot
Janette called me to photograph her beautiful family for a last minute Christmas card.  I was able to meet them at the Palace of Fine Arts just a few miles from my home.  It had been raining for 2 days but an hour before the shoot, the sun came out and it turned out to be perfect!

Merry Christmas
I had the pleasure of going home to New Hampshire for Christmas this year.  I packed all of my sweaters and all of my wool socks and headed home with my Fiance in tow.  Nine days of cold, snow, wine, food, naps, family and friends, and my personal favorite...blond little nieces!  Here are just a sample of my favorites of Solana & Aviana.
